Eco-friendly wood, lacquer, mother-of-pearl inlay.

Craft Process

Each box is shaped, sanded, and coated with multiple layers of lacquer to create a smooth, deep surface. Thin pieces of shell are hand-cut, arranged, and inlaid to form the ice-crack pattern across the lid and the paired ducks on the sides. The final polishing reveals a soft yet intricate glow, allowing the motifs to emerge slowly under changing light.

As a fully handmade shell-inlay work, slight variations in pattern layout, shell texture, and sheen are natural. These differences are signs of handcraft, making every Shelllight Tissue Box a distinct, collectible piece. Dimensions: 24 cm*13 cm*9.2 cm (9.45 in*5.12 in*3.62 in). Measurements are taken by hand and may vary slightly.

1. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and high humidity.
2. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.
3. Keep away from sharp objects to protect the inlay surface.

This piece has no ready stock and requires a production window shown on this page. We dispatch promptly after completion. International delivery typically arrives about one to two weeks after shipment; timing depends on destination, carrier, and customs. Delivery dates are estimates only.

Returns & Exchanges
Change-of-mind returns are not accepted for handmade items. If the item arrives damaged, incorrect, or materially not as described, contact info@folkmake.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a complete, continuous unboxing video (from sealed parcel to inspection). Keep all packaging and accessories. We will review and, if approved, arrange repair or replacement; if a like-for-like replacement is not feasible, we will refund to your original payment method. We will provide return instructions and the correct return address by email.
