Shipping policy

1. Overview

FolkMake offers free worldwide shipping on all orders. For eligible destinations shown at checkout, duties and taxes are included, meaning there should be no extra fees at delivery beyond what you see at checkout.

2. Production Time Before Shipment

Because FolkMake carries regular handcrafted items, made-to-order pieces, and custom products, production time varies by product.

The exact production time for each item is shown on its individual product page. Please refer to the product detail page for the most accurate and up-to-date crafting timeline before placing your order.

We dispatch your order promptly after the item is completed and passes final quality inspection.

3. Shipping Time After Dispatch

After shipment, standard international delivery typically takes around 7–15 days, depending on destination, carrier operations, customs processing, and local delivery conditions.

4. Tracking and Shipping Confirmation

When your order leaves our facility, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

Please note that carrier scans may appear with short delays while parcels are moving through transit hubs.

5. Carriers and Shipping Options

Standard international shipping is included by default.

For some products and destinations, paid express shipping may be available at checkout to speed up the transit time after dispatch.

Please note that express shipping can shorten the shipping stage, but it does not shorten the product’s crafting time.

6. Split Shipments

To avoid delaying ready items, we may ship an order in more than one parcel when needed.

If this happens, there will be no additional shipping charge to you for the split shipment itself, and you will receive tracking details for each parcel.

7. Address Accuracy and Failed Delivery

Please provide a complete and deliverable shipping address, including apartment number, building number, phone number where needed, and any necessary delivery instructions.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incomplete or undeliverable address, refusal, or repeated failed delivery attempts, we can assist with re-shipment after any additional shipping cost is paid.

8. Duties, Taxes, and Import Charges

Where shown on our store and supported for your order, duties and taxes are included in the price you pay at checkout, so there should be no extra fees due at delivery.

However, customs procedures and local import rules may still vary by destination. If your local authorities require additional information for clearance, timely cooperation may help avoid delays.

9. Packaging, Inspection, and Damage Claims

We pack each order carefully before dispatch.

If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, or if the contents appear damaged, incorrect, or materially not as described, please inspect it promptly after delivery and contact us as soon as possible.

To protect your rights, we strongly recommend recording a complete, continuous unboxing video starting from the sealed parcel and continuing through the full item inspection.

For claims involving transit damage, wrong item shipped, or materially not as described, the unboxing video is a key assessment factor under our Returns and Exchanges Policy.

10. Delays Outside Our Control

All delivery windows are estimates only.

Shipping times may be affected by weather events, customs inspections, local disruptions, seasonal carrier congestion, public holidays, or other circumstances outside our control.

If your parcel is delayed beyond the expected window, we will help check the shipment status and, where appropriate, assist in starting a carrier inquiry.

11. Ordering for a Specific Date

If you need an order to arrive by a specific date, please contact us before placing the order and send us the product link plus destination country.

We will advise based on the current production timeline shown on that product page and the available shipping options, but we cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date unless explicitly confirmed by us in writing.
