About FolkMake
FolkMake is an independent craft brand co-created by artisans, headquartered in the UK with studios and most of its artisans based in the UK, the Americas and Asia. We create original handmade pieces in small batches, bringing together different crafts, cultures, and creative voices. Our aim is simple: to make distinctive work worth living with, giving, and keeping, while keeping the people who create it at the heart of the brand.
How FolkMake Began
FolkMake started when a group of artisans realized they shared the same challenge: creating the work was only half of it. Finding the right audience was the other half. So we decided to build something together.

FolkMake brings together independent artisans from around the world. We learn from one another across different crafts and cultures, build FolkMake together, and help each other’s work reach more people, while every creator keeps their own identity, ideas, and creative direction.
