This handmade glass art piece, CosmoWhirl Orb, is created in small batches by Child of Light Studio in China. Each orb captures the vast beauty of the universe through flame-worked borosilicate glass, forming swirling galaxies and radiant depths that make every piece truly one of a kind.

Behind the Product

Child of Light, an independent glass artist devoted to cosmic themes, believes that the universe exists in infinite forms - each mysterious, boundless, and beautiful. Every CosmoWhirl Orb begins as molten glass under fire and evolves freely into a unique celestial form. No two orbs are identical; each swirl and sparkle carries its own rhythm of light and depth. Customers receive real images of completed orbs to choose from, or can wait for the next batch if none feels truly theirs.

Borosilicate glass hand - shaped under high flame; pigments and metallic powders used for cosmic patterns.

Craft Process

Each orb is flame-worked individually, layered with colored glass rods and metallic powders to create interlacing orbits and nebula-like depth. The artist controls temperature and rotation speed by hand, letting natural randomness shape the final cosmic landscape. The display version is mounted on a handcrafted oakwood base, while the pendant version includes a discreet metal bail for daily wear.

Each CosmoWhirl Orb carries unique internal patterns, air traces, and light refractions shaped by fire and motion. These variations are the signature of true craftsmanship, making every orb an unrepeatable cosmic creation.

1. Keep away from hard impacts and extreme temperature changes.
2. Clean gently with a soft microfiber cloth; do not use chemical cleaners.
3. Avoid prolonged sunlight exposure to preserve color depth.
4. For pendant versions, remove before showering or sleeping; for display pieces, store in a dust-free, shaded area when not in use

Shipping
This piece has no ready stock and requires a production window shown on this page. We dispatch promptly after completion. International delivery typically arrives about one to two weeks after shipment; timing depends on destination, carrier, and customs. Delivery dates are estimates only.

Returns & Exchanges
Change-of-mind returns are not accepted for handmade items. If the item arrives damaged, incorrect, or materially not as described, contact info@folkmake.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a complete, continuous unboxing video (from sealed parcel to inspection). Keep all packaging and accessories. We will review and, if approved, arrange repair or replacement; if a like-for-like replacement is not feasible, we will refund to your original payment method. We will provide return instructions and the correct return address by email.
