Shipping

Crafting time: most pieces are made to order and need about 2–5 business days. The current estimate for this design is shown on the product page.

Standard international shipping: free, usually 7–15 days after dispatch.

Express options: paid express shipping is available at checkout to speed up the international transit time. Crafting time itself cannot be rushed, so we can keep the quality and careful checks.

You can follow your parcel until it arrives.

Returns & After-sales

If your standard (non-custom) piece arrives damaged or very different from the description/photos, we will help you with a replacement or full refund and cover all shipping costs.

If you simply change your mind or feel it is not right for you (for non-custom pieces), you can return the item within 14 days from the delivery date. In this case, return shipping is paid by you, and we will refund the product price after we confirm it is undamaged.

For custom-made pieces (for example, sizes or details made only for you), we cannot accept returns unless there is a clear quality issue.

To protect your rights, we strongly recommend recording a short unboxing video when you open the parcel, so we can help you quickly if anything goes wrong in transit.

1. Avoid water, perfume, skincare, and household chemicals; remove before showering, swimming, or exercising to protect the 18K gold-plated finish.
2. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear; do not use abrasive cleaners, polishing cloths, ultrasonic cleaners, or chemical dips.
3. Store in a dry pouch or box, separately from other jewelry to prevent scratches and friction; keep away from humidity for longer-lasting shine.

Why We Started FolkMake

We are a young Chinese couple, Cecilia Chen and Oliver Sun. FolkMake exists to bring real handmade work in China to a wider world — pieces that feel honest, well made, and worth living with for a long time.

Our original intention was simple: to create a clear bridge, through us, for more people to understand these niche yet masterful crafts — what they are, how they’re made, and who stands behind them.
