Craft Process & Handmade Character

Craft Process: Each pendant starts from a detailed wax model of the twin skis, which is cast in 925 sterling silver and then polished to a smooth, streamlined profile. The surface is plated with 18K gold in selected versions, while tiny cubic zirconia stones are hand-set into their seats along the skis. The snow goggle charm is cut to fit a slice of mother-of-pearl, which is carefully inlaid so its natural sheen catches the light like reflected snow. Finally, the components are assembled on a fine chain, checked so that the skis lie flat against the collarbone and the goggle moves freely without twisting.

Handmade Character: Because each necklace is finished by hand, small variations in stone placement, mother-of-pearl texture, and polishing marks may appear from piece to piece.
