    Clear has no added metallic particles, keeping the glass clean and luminous. With Sparkle Flecks adds ultrafine gold and silver particles suspended within the glass, creating a subtle shimmer that catches the light from within.

      A handmade glass gem shaped by flame, capturing the sea in flowing colors, wave-like patterns, and shifting light. Wear it, display it, or keep it as a reminder of a sea you still think about.

      Handmade by FolkMake artisan and glass artist Mia Glaze, who has spent over a decade exploring ocean and aurora themes through lampwork glass. Her work uses color and light to evoke the ever-changing moods of the sea.

      We offer free worldwide shipping, with duties and taxes already included in the final price. Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.

      Because each OceanRipple Gem is custom and made to order, the first 24 hours after your order is placed are used for material preparation. During this time, you can contact us to cancel your order and receive a full refund or change the form you selected. After this 24-hour preparation period, production begins, and the order can no longer be cancelled and the selected form can no longer be changed.

      If your piece arrives damaged, you receive the wrong item, or there is another clear issue with your order, please contact us first and send us photos or, if available, an unboxing video. FolkMake will cover all shipping costs for any replacement. Depending on the situation, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund.

      Not Every Piece Makes It

      A finished OceanRipple Gem may look effortless. Getting the colors, shape, and depth just right can take days of work, and sometimes it means starting over. The one you receive is the one that made the cut.

        FAQ

        No two OceanRipple Gems are exactly alike. The photos show examples of past finished pieces. If you choose one of the seven Sea Scenes, your piece will stay within that color palette, while the wave patterns and small details will naturally vary with each handmade piece.

        Choose Artist’s Choice if you want something beyond the seven standard Sea Scenes. Leave no cart note and we’ll make a multicolor piece by default. If you have a color preference, leave it in your cart note and we’ll use it as the color direction for your piece.

        Clear gives the glass a cleaner, more transparent look, while With Sparkle Flecks adds a subtle shimmer inside the glass. Each piece features an irregularly shaped opal by default. If you'd prefer yours without one, please leave a note in your cart.

        Each piece is handcrafted from borosilicate glass from U.S. glassmaker Corning. It is made to be worn, held, and displayed, but it is still handmade glass art. Avoid hard drops, strong impacts, and sudden temperature changes. For everyday cleaning, gently wipe it with a soft, clean cloth.

        The Necklace and Bracelet versions have a softly flattened oval shape from the front, with a slightly flattened back for more comfortable wear. The Display Gem has a rounded, spherical form. The Necklace, Bracelet, and Display Gem all measure approximately 2.2 cm / 0.87 in overall.

        Each OceanRipple Gem is made to order. Crafting usually takes 3–7 days, followed by approximately 7–15 days for delivery. Tracking is provided once your order ships, and worldwide shipping, duties, and taxes are included in the final price.
