Materials

Mixed beadwork (resin beads / dyed stone beads / metal accents) on a fabric-wrapped hair clip base.

Craft Process

Beads are arranged by hand to create a balanced composition and visual rhythm. Each clip is finished and checked for a secure hold, designed to work with both thin and thick hair.

Handmade Character

Because every piece is handmade, bead placement and color pattern will vary slightly from clip to clip. These differences are part of its charm and make each one unique.

1. Spot clean gently with a soft dry cloth; do not machine wash or soak.
2. Keep away from heavy friction, perfume, and cosmetics to prevent staining.
3. Store in a pouch when not in use to protect color and shape.

Shipping

Crafting time: most pieces are made to order and need about 2–5 business days. The current estimate for this design is shown on the product page.

Standard international shipping: free, usually 7–15 business days after dispatch.

Express options: paid express shipping is available at checkout to speed up the international transit time. Crafting time itself cannot be rushed, so we can keep the quality and careful checks.

All orders ship from Asia and US hubs with tracking so you can follow your parcel until it arrives.

Returns & After-sales

If your standard (non-custom) piece arrives damaged or very different from the description/photos, we will help you with a replacement or full refund and cover all shipping costs.

If you simply change your mind or feel it is not right for you (for non-custom pieces), you can return the item within 14 days from the delivery date. In this case, return shipping is paid by you, and we will refund the product price after we confirm it is undamaged.

For custom-made pieces (for example, sizes or details made only for you), we cannot accept returns unless there is a clear quality issue.

To protect your rights, we strongly recommend recording a short unboxing video when you open the parcel, so we can help you quickly if anything goes wrong in transit.

We are a young Chinese couple, Cecilia Chen and Oliver Sun, who created FolkMake to travel across China, meet artisans, and choose handmade pieces that genuinely move us.

Each piece carries not only careful materials and craft, but also years of practice and personal vision.
