This handmade silk camellia hair clip is crafted in small batches by Craft Artist Sora in China. Inspired by traditional Ronghua techniques, each bloom preserves the softness of silk in a sculpted, everlasting flower, designed as a delicate statement for everyday wear or a special, meaningful gift.

The SilkBloom Camellia Hair Clip reinterprets the ancient Chinese craft of Ronghua - handmade silk flowers that never fade. Each petal is cut, shaped, and layered to echo the gentle fullness of a camellia in bloom. The piece balances softness and structure, carrying a quiet resilience that pairs with both everyday wear and ceremonial moments.

Craft Process

The creation involves over a dozen meticulous steps: silk threads are treated, cut, shaped, and curled into individual petals, then assembled layer by layer onto a wired base. The camellia is fixed to a metal clip, ensuring it sits securely while preserving its three-dimensional volume.

This piece has no ready stock and requires a production window shown on this page. We dispatch promptly after completion. International delivery typically arrives about one to two weeks after shipment; timing depends on destination, carrier, and customs. Delivery dates are estimates only.

Returns & Exchanges
Change-of-mind returns are not accepted for handmade items. If the item arrives damaged, incorrect, or materially not as described, contact info@folkmake.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a complete, continuous unboxing video (from sealed parcel to inspection). Keep all packaging and accessories. We will review and, if approved, arrange repair or replacement; if a like-for-like replacement is not feasible, we will refund to your original payment method. We will provide return instructions and the correct return address by email.
